Islam is under the microscope again. With talk of extremism in the community leading to violence, the religion is itself being blamed. The solutions proposed include the need for Muslims to change the nature of their adherence to their religion. There is now a need to discuss if there is a clash of civilizations and if so how best to manage that clash in the aftermath of innocent deaths and policy proposals that disproportionately target the Muslim community.
